All about Sally quiz

1. Do you live in a zoo?

One smelly boy, one hyperactive dog and one silly cat. The answer is yes.

2. What did you do this morning?

Woke up, picked a fight with Ben, cried and went to work. Sounds very glamorous, doesn’t it?

3. Where do you work?

A database marketing firm in Olathe, KS. I hate the traffic. I see car accidents every day.

4. What do you dislike at the moment?

  • When my boss gets to leave early for the holiday weekend and I am stuck at my desk
  • Dirty laundry

5. What food do you crave right now?

I kinda want a jollyrancher. Isn’t that a funny name for a candy? What is this Rancher so jolly about? What exactly are they ranching anyway?

6. Are you on any medication?

Why? What have you heard? Who have you been talking to?

7. What side of the bed do you sleep on?

Let’s talk percentage. Ben gets about 52%, Milo (doggie) gets about 30% (for being only 13 pounds, he knows how to maximize), so that leaves me about 18%.

8. What color is your car?

Bright blue

9. What are your favorite stores?

I love the grocery store. I love all of the options! You have to eat, so might as well enjoy it. I also love love love Ikea, but the closest one is in Chicago, so I don’t get to go very often.

10. Can you imagine yourself ever getting married?

I can imagine it in great detail, happening on a beautiful day in October.

11. What did you do last night?

I played softball. It was the first game I have ever played and it turns out, I am awesome. I got on base and got a run. Minor leagues, here I come!

12. Have you ever done something to instigate trouble?

I occasionally play devils advocate when I think someone needs to be called on their shit. But I prefer harmony. Leave the drama for yo’ momma.

13. Do you like your nose?

I’m not in love the zit parked on the end of my nose currently. I look like Rudolph.

14. When was the last time you worked out?

I was doing squats in the outfield during the softball game last night. It wasn’t exactly a fast-paced game.

15. Do you like pedicures?

I really love to be pampered. I love haircuts, manicures, pedicures, massages. I love it when someone’s focus is entirely on me and making me feel good.

16. What is the thing you'd want to change most about yourself?

I wish I were more patient. I also wish I was more motivated to finish projects. (I have been working on the same Christmas stocking since 2001.)

17. What is your favorite color?

Red

18. Would you ever sky dive?

No thank you. I would have to be pushed out of the plane and would land with pee stains on my pants. I can think of better things to do with my time.

19. Do you enjoy giving hugs?

I love hugs! Why? Do you need one?

20. What books, if any, have made you cry?

I cried nonstop while reading the last quarter of “The Notebook,” by Nicholas Sparks. It was the MOST romantic book I have ever read (not in that make-you-want-to-throw-up way) and I honestly did not believe a man wrote it for quite some time. I saw the movie years later, but don’t really remember how I felt about it.

21. Do you ever feel guilty after eating meat?

Hell no! I love meat. I am a carnivore.

22. What is the silliest prank you ever played on someone?

I convinced my 2nd grade class that I was a BOY scout. I showed up to school in my dad’s old scout uniform with a matching skirt to make appear even more authentic. I think they bought it.

23. If money were not an object, what would you do with your life?

I was unemployed during March 2006 and totally enjoyed it. So, I think I would be a stay at home person. I figure I would become bored after a while, but who knows? Maybe I would appoint myself as the social chair of my friends and family and be completely content…

24. What place in the US would you most like to visit?

I really really want to go to Hawaii.

25. Coke or Pepsi?

My favorite soda is Fresca, but it is hard to come by. I also like the DDP (Diet Dr. Pepper).

26. American Idol fan? Katharine or Taylor?

I religiously watched the first American Idol. I had it on speed dial. And I firmly believe there is only one American Idol and that is Kelly Clarkson. The others are dead to me.

27. What is your superpower?

I have a couple:

  • I remember my dreams almost every morning.
  • I am brilliant at telling when people have gotten a haircut.

I realize these aren’t exactly the most coveted superpowers, but you make due with what you have.

28. Who would you want to play you in the movie about your life?

I am very sure I am the worst actor on earth. Also, I have debilitating stage fright and I do not believe people would pay money to watch me throw up on myself. So, I guess my answer is no.

He is VERY cultured

Normally I don't let Milo chew on things, but I made an exception in this case.
