lights...camera...justice.

Some of you may know that I am suing my former employer in small claims court. Earlier this week, I came home to a letter from Judge Mathis inviting me to take our matter to the small screen. I had a good laugh and set the letter aside. Today I recieved a phone call from Judge Mathis' office. His minions are trying to convince me to seek justice on tv. They are wooing me with a free trip to Chicago and $200 cash. I can just see myself wearing a tube top, chewing gum and pleading my case on tv. Momma would be so proud.

Recycling

I love thrift stores. It is the definition of recycling. Ben and I are working on alot of projects around the house and are beginning to make frequent trips to Goodwill to donate our unwanted items. (read: exorcise the remnants of our college days) During our Saturday trip to Goodwill, we were actually worried they wouldn't accept our junk! Luckily they did, but I had a flash back to last year when we moved into our house. My family told me they would never move that raggity furniture again. Maybe on the next trip to Goodwill, I should just bring the receipts from 1998 and return it all, as it probably came from there in the first place.
