Hitchhiking as a form of commute

Have you heard of this? Washington DC-ers have created a modified commute which combines carpooling and hitchhiking. They call it "slugging."

Europeans love David Hasselhoff, Scares America

Seriously, David Hasselhoff freaks me out. The first time I saw this video, I thought it was a joke. No such luck, America. Apparently, his latest single "Jump in My Car," is blowin' up on the British Charts. There is no way this guy takes himself seriously, right? You have to admire that. I think. But I have to admit, I need his "don't hassel the hoff" shirt.
