Last night we were out with some friends to celebrate a few March birthdays. I brought some marshmallow Peeps to share with the other party goers. I walked up to one guy and offered him a delicious Peep. He said, "Can't. Last year I got diabetes for my birthday."

Did you know there is Conservapedia? As in, a Wikipedia for conservatives? Yup - there is.

Blast from the past

Listening to the radio on my drive home today, I got a blast from the past. "Walk the Dinosaur" by Was not Was! I was so excited! I remember loving this song so much back in 1988. As the song neared the end, it took a turn for the worst...why would this strange, confused singer kill a dinosaur?? And how could I have forgotten about this part of the song?? Had I never listened to the end of the song before? Was I just a crazed 8 year-old, shouting at the top of my lungs about dinosaurs, drowning out the awful turn of events for this poor beast?

So many questions...so few answers.

Claim to fame

I actually met an author of a "for Dummies" book today! I was in seminars all day and sat in on a session led by Richard Goldsmith the author of "Direct Mail for Dummies." He is going to send me a copy. Wouldn't it be hilarious if he signed it?!

Planning for the future

I found this great (and scary) website called Living to 100. It's a life expectancy calculator based on your heredity and lifestyle. My estimated life expectancy is 89 years. Ben's is only 73.
